Entrepreneurship Programme

These are producers who strike out on their own, who know high highs and low lows, great devotions, and who overextend themselves for worthwhile causes.  Without exception, they fail more than they succeed and appreciate this reality even before venturing out their own. But when these producers of wealth fail, they at least fail with style and grace, and their gut soon recognize that failure is only a resting place, not a place in which to spend a life-time. Their places will never be with those nameless souls who know neither victory nor defeat, who receive weekly paychecks regardless of their week’s performance, who are hired hands in the labor in someone else’s garden. These doers are producers and no matter what their lot is at any given moment, they will never take a place beside takers, for theirs is a unique place, alone, under the sun.”  THEY ARE ENTREPRENEURS!

At the end of our entrepreneurship program, your young entrepreneurs will be able to:

1. Acquire the knowledge and skills of the fundamentals of starting a business.
2. Have a complete business plan which can be used as the business roadmap.
3. Learn about issues such as pricing, cash flow, hiring employees, business plans, sales, marketing, e-commerce and time management.
4. Create, print and electronic media commercials as well as the preparation of the financials for their company - a profit and loss statement, and a cash flow analysis.
5. Learn to conduct research and collect meaningful information, and become confident in speaking to and communicating effectively with audiences.
6. Apply creative thinking skills to develop new business ideas and submit a business plan based on their business model. 

The primary goal of the Entrepreneurship Training Program is to train students to successfully become tomorrow's leaders. Most importantly, the skills that students acquire through this experience extend far beyond entrepreneurship and have life-long, personal impact. In this programme, they will also learn about the entrepreneur, entrepreneurship issues, types of business ownership, business financing and its sources, venture launch and development.
 
At the end of the programme, there will be a competition where outstanding entrepreneurs will get to present their idea to the judges. Winners will be presented with the “Most Outstanding Entrepreneur Award”.

Learning Methodology:
An interactive method will be used throughout the course comprising of theory, interactive and action learning activities, discovery exercises, group discussion, role-playing and self-assessment. Class assignments will deal with real-life business activities including the development and presentation of business plans. Close support will be provided during the training.
