AGB EducCation STAR Approach
How We Conduct Training and Development Differently……

1.Need Analysis
This is the first step in our STAR Approach. In this step, we will start by arranging a consultation session with the school to allow us to fulfill the following:
- Target Audience’s Needs (Students)
- Training Requirement
- Main Objectives
After this step, we will identify the key challenges facing the school and student as well. Thus, at our end, we will analyze these key challenges.
2.Framework
After our need analysis, we will develop a framework that suits in well with the student and school’s requirements. We start by looking into the values of the school and then, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and develop a customized training framework for the school.
3.Differentiated Learning Approach
In this step, we are concerned with the different level of learners (eg. High ability and average ability). Therefore, we came up with a differentiated learning approach for each level. We will first do a profiling for all students to understand their learning capability and then, using different approach for different level of students.
For high ability students, we will be using learning approach like individual reflection and theory based. For average ability student, we will be using group reflection and experiential learning approach. Thus, it makes our training approach unique in which we are concern in developing student in every level at their own ability.
4.Outcome
In this step, we are concerned with the Result-driven outcome. How we can achieve this? It is through our specially-tailored and focused accelerated transformational approach.
5.Evaluation/ Assessment
In this step, we will be evaluating our training programme through the following approach:
- Pre/Post Course Review
This is done through trainer’s report and feedback
- KirkPatrick 4 Level of Evaluation
This 4 level of evaluation includes reaction, understanding, behavioral change and impact on end result. Our approach in attaining this 4 level of evaluation includes survey, observation and questionnaires.
